The above results are based on:
i) the life expectancy of an untreated water heater being 3 years
ii) the life expectancy of a treated water heater being 8 years
iii) taking an average limescale build up for the local water hardness
iv) a report from Cranfield University stating that each millimetre of limescale adds 7.5% to your energy bills and also that the Kalguard+ will give an 80% reduction in limescale
